Descrição
Resumo:[EN] Built heritage and its conservation have given rise to all sorts of opinions and theories in every era. There is no single solution to all these issues. What the author of this text has called the culture of Active Conservation comprises a line of thought that strives to mark a guideline or sense of orientation regarding built heritage. Active conservation is based on the recognition of change as one of the few certainties of our existence in dealing with the planning territory, the protection, conservation, use, appraisal, restoration and upkeep of our built heritage.
