Late Glacial–Holocene fossil pollen record from N'Harcha (Middle Atlas, Morocco) documenting forest dynamics with focus on Cedrus atlantica

This dataset provides the fossil pollen record from the N’Harcha site (Middle Atlas, Morocco), spanning the Late Glacial–Holocene transition (~12,960 cal yr BP to present). It includes percentage data for individual taxa, summary categories (Trees, Shrubs, Herbs, Ferns, Hygrophytes), non-pollen paly...

Descripción
Sumario:This dataset provides the fossil pollen record from the N’Harcha site (Middle Atlas, Morocco), spanning the Late Glacial–Holocene transition (~12,960 cal yr BP to present). It includes percentage data for individual taxa, summary categories (Trees, Shrubs, Herbs, Ferns, Hygrophytes), non-pollen palynomorphs, total pollen concentration, and charcoal counts (>125 μm). These variables allow the reconstruction of postglacial vegetation dynamics with particular focus on Cedrus atlantica, a key Mediterranean conifer sensitive to climatic variability and human disturbance.
