The Post-Synodal Exhortation <i>Verbum Domini</i>, which continues in this line of trying to understand better the sacred books, is a profound reflection about the nature of the Word of God and about its place in the life of the Church. Benedict XVI collected in this document the propositions of the Synod, but he structured and expounded them in a very personal form, adding some proper valuable theological reflections, with relevant consequences for biblical hermeneutics. |
