| Sumario: | The quantification of the phytohormone, indolil-3-acetic acid l]AAJ. in me.thanolic extracts of etiolated hypocotyls of Lupíne by a fluorimetric method, has been investigated. The applícation of the established criteria for the use of thís method shows that the observed fluorescence corresponds to the fluorescent lAA derivative. and that the other components of the methanolic extracts do not interfere in the measure. So, it is possible to quantify directly the !AA in the methanolic extracts without previous purification. |
