Pd-catalyzed C(sp3)-C(sp) bond formation in iodocyclobutenes
A synthesis of skipped 1,4-enynes through functionalization of the cyclobutene core with alkynes has been achieved, suggesting an unusual pathway of oxidative addition in tertiary iodoalkane.
