| Sumario: | [EN] Music helps to create, maintain and to subvert the social order. This is one of several reasons why music is so important to humans. The political scene in Catalonia since the autumn of 2017 offers numerous examples that illustrate this reality perfectly. The social movement relative to the demands of self-government in a State showing a democracy involution, has generated its own soundtrack made up of the soundscape of "caceroladas", the chorused slogans and chants in the streets or the musical events of political kind, which are organized in the main towns of the country. Focusing on the period between the autumn of 2017 and beginning of 2019, I will offer a glimpse of the diversity and creativity of sound and musical practices, which with its own acoustic reality, characterize those moments of great social effervescence. |
