| Sumario: | The utility of the Tipe-Variety System in the analysis of maya ceramics depends, in a way, of the effectivity in data representation. This system emphasizes attributes analyisis (surface finish, form, paste, temper, etc) and given the bulk of ceramic data ceramics representation is complex and difficult. The aim of this paper is, for that reason, a methodological proposal through the automatized cuantifucation and graphic representation of data ceramic using as a example the ceramic materials from the maya site of Oxintok, Yucatan, Mexico. |
