Descrição
Resumo:This work focuses on the control design of parallel DC/AC converters acting as voltage sources in what is known as grid-forming mode, one of the current hot topics in electrical engineering research, as they play a major role in the current decentralization and transition to green energy process that the electrical grid is going under. This classification of converters refers to those that dictate a grid, network, or system’s voltage amplitude and frequency references and control them through their active and reactive powers. During the project, a literature review is provided on the state of the art of the most relevant control techniques working on the topic. Then, some of them are evaluated under simulation and real hardware tests that emulate real operation of these systems in the industry.
