Sumario:[EN] The documentation created by the Holy Office in Ibero-America allows us to reconstruct singular lives that illuminate the past in different ways. After being accused, Tebanillo González starred in an inquisitorial process (1789-1790) despite his reputation as a madman. His rare case, because the insanes were not judged by the Holy Office, allows us to know the relationships of a marginal character with the society and religious initiatives to control a disordered mind
