Sumario:For the first time, and from the direct research on the documentary sources, is published a synthetic study of the confraternal world of Logrono during the Modern Age. After the disappearance of the medieval brotherhoods or their transformation, born several devotional brotherhoods, based throughout in parishes and in male monasterys. Is particularly significant the large number, around 50, of the total population in the middle of the XVII century. Most of these brotherhoods are institutions of a general and open nature, but there are also a few of a guild and a class nature.
