Sumario:El Norte de Castilla discusses the Spanish-Cuban-American war of 1895-1898 from the perspective of a categorical ascendancy of Spain on the largest of the Antilles, being this a circumstance that is not debatable for the interests that the newspaper represents. From this point of view. El Norte de Castilla joins the patriotic movement of national acclaim that tries to mask the fragrant injustice indicted during the contribution to the bellicose effort and evoids a constrained analysis of the real situation in Cuba.
