| Sumario: | OBJECTIVES: The goal of this project is to investigate a combination of launch vehicle, parking orbit, trajectory selection, arrival orbit, mass limit for total payload, etc., in order to fit a reasonable low cost solution to take up the Google Lunar X-Prize (GLPX)competition. METHODOLOGY: 1.Documentation research. 2. Description and analysis of possibilities for each parameter (launch vehicle, type of trajectories, etc.). 3. Comparison with GLPX requirements and choice of an optimal combination. 4. Trajectory analysis by the use of informatics tools STK (Satellite Tool Kit) and GMAT (General Mission Analysis Tool). 5. Comparison of each tool methodology and results. 6. Redaction of a thesis report. 7. Master's thesis final presentation. |
