Sumario:[EN] The distinctive character of the regional dictionaries is an evidence that is in fact determined by the principle of contrastiveness set among the candidates for 'regional term' and other lexicographical repertoires, especially the Academic dictionary. The revision of the criteria of lexical selection in the 19th century Andalucian repertoires will help us find out, on the one hand, the integral character of the vocabularies or special lexicons; and on the other, the deficiencies general dictionaries show when correctly applying the principle of contrastiveness by the authors of regional dictionaries.
