Descripción
Sumario:[EN] The structural or resistant capacity of concrete is possibly the most developed by the construction industry due to its technical component. However, its structural quality as a generator or definer of architectural form has other implications. Inevitably it is based on the technique of a constructed building, but it is necessary to delve into the genesis of the project -how concrete is shaped as the only architectural material capable of ordering a particular result-. This paper explores this analysis: it describes the architecture proposal implicit in the thesis, identifies the pinnacle moment from which this research originated and recognizes in contemporary architectures different discourses that can be derived from it. To achieve this, an argument is established in three stages called time -1, time 0 and time 1. The finality is to firmly identify the material concrete capable of defining the work of architecture through the structure.
