Biomaterials with antimicrobial properties for bone regeneration

The geometry, arrangement and size of the topographic elements of the surface of a biomaterial has a very important impact on bacterial adhesion. This project aims to investigate the effect of nano and microtopography of calcium phosphate substrates on the adhesion of bacteria.
