Sumario:This doctoral thesis focuses on the environmental analysis through the methodology of Life Cycle Assessment of innovative alternatives for the application of the principles of circular economy in strategic primary sectors in Galicia. Specifically, the valorisation of wine residues to obtain value-added products, the application of traditional techniques in the in-shore fishery, the application of multi-product strategies in the canning sector, and the level of eco-efficiency in dairy and aquaculture farms were analysed. The results of this thesis have made it possible to determine the "hot spots" of the different practices, as well as benchmarking with other management alternatives.
