Several washover fans breaking through the spit of Valdelagrana existing in middle 7 8th Century in the Guadalete estuary (Bay of Cadiz) are interpreted as the trace of the exceptional tsunami generated by the AD 1755 Lisbon earthquake, based on geological, morphological and historical arguments
