Descrição
Resumo:[EN] Visual hypersaturation governs our world and our way of being in it, modifying the image and associating new connotations with it on the basis of the digital. The transfer of this change of paradigm to the theoretical-artistic field establishes revisions on the ontology of the medium, especially the photographic medium, in the post-digital era, questioning its validity, modifying its uses and providing new paths to explore. Within these questions, emerging artistic practices appear, as is the case of Marta Pujades (Palma, 1992), who reflects on this debate and links it to gender approaches. The result is a work that analyses the power structures within visual culture and the mechanisms of construction of identity images, from which rigid categories in relation to gender and sexuality can be constructed and deconstructed.
