| Sumario: | Almazan Tertiary Basin has a well known geometry based on seismic surveys. From these data, the gravity anomaly due to tertiary sediments has been carried out using the Bhaskara Rao, Prakash, and Ramesh Babu (1990) method. This effect has been removed from the observed gravity map obtaining a new gravity map corresponding to deeper or regional structures (Moho, basement features etc..,). This method provides an useful tool to enhance deep structures which effect would be hidden by overlying sediments |
