Descripción
Sumario:The studies conducted in this thesis focus on the development and optimization of analytical methodologies for the determination of organic compounds of agronomic, environmental, and cosmetic interest. These analytes include fungicides, volatile, semi-volatile and phenolic compounds present in honey, as well as pharmaceuticals and personal care products, including fragrances, UV filters, plasticizers, preservatives and antibiotics. Miniaturized extraction techniques followed by chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry, tandem mass spectrometry and high-resolution mass spectrometry, were used and extensively applied to a wide variety of real samples. In addition, innovative strategies based on photodegradation and advanced oxidation processes, have been evaluated for the removal of antibiotics from water.
