Sumario:Within the antiaulic satire, the court is referred to as a sea of evils. In this context of literary criticism, we carry out an analysis of the most representative Seventeenth-century Spanish and Spanish American texts dealing with this controversy, highlighting those in which the concepts of court and poetry come together, as they are metapoetically suggestive.
