Sumario:[EN] We wonder about the origin of the orthogonal tracings. It is commonly said that the layout grid is the most natural and intuitive. Is it a Greek invention? Archaeology shows that in human history, cultural phenomena are due to technological inventions and creations. We suspect that adjectives like “natural” and “intuitive” hide an inevitable subordination to the calculation of areas and plots and agricultural mapping, which takes place in the Neolithic, within plain and fertile river environments
