Sumario:Enric Miralles won his first international competition with the new center in the port of Bremerhaven (1993). Diving between the original artwork of his files (1), are presented here for the first time some of his preparatory sketches. This is the project that summarizes the way to the architect and the embryo of his works later stages of the EMBT study(2) . In addition, the article explains a previous work, the study area for river Osthafen (Frankfurt, 1992); relating it to one. Miralles invent extremely experimental ways of working that would mark a turning point in his career. Both the depth of the documents, and the techniques used to think them inextricably to the project, -linked, one can see metaphors, icons, and fragments. We made a reading of his narrative aspect
