Dicho régimen de relación es compatible con el régimen de visitas que pueda establecerse en favor de uno de los progenitores, pero uno y otro no son equiparables. De hecho, el contenido y la extensión del régimen de relación del menor con sus hermanos, abuelos y otros parientes y allegados será, como regla general, más reducido que el del régimen de visitas que corresponde a los progenitores; mientras que la periodicidad será mayor. Además, la duración temporal deberá ser todavía menor y la periodicidad mayor en aquellos casos en los que el régimen de relación con los menores deba establecerse con más de una persona.
