Sumario:[EN] Oran city count with one of the biggest defensive systems in the African cost, an fascinating and complex system which find origins at the earliest sixteenth century, when the Spanish army, in their politic of North-African conquest, took the control of Oran and Mazalquivir. Once installed, they immediately started an interesting progressive fortification process, counting with the kingdom's best engineers. Developed during the 3 centuries of the Spanish domination, actually provide us with one of the best examples of costal fortified cities, of the Spanish empire in the Northern Africa.
