| Sumario: | [EN] During a monthly academic stay in Ljubljana (Slovenia), the researcher has the opportunity of explore and be documented about the local idiosyncrasy. Some alternative visual narratives are showed, by using Art Based Research through photographs. T hose visual narratives are photo essays and sample series accompanied by theoretical review about problems linked with Slovenian heritage. Three main issues are developed. Firstly, how either territorial poverty or wealth is linked to the heritage. Secondly, the role that is played by human actions in the development of heritage value. Finally, Tensions generated between mass tourism and citizens who are committed to a peaceful coexistence. Finally art education is proposed as a method of solving some of the cultural problems detected. |
