Descripción
Sumario:[eng] Return of the Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus) as a breeding bird in Mallorca. Since its extinction as a breeding species in Mallorca by the end of the 1970s, it has often been observed in the northern area of Mallorca. In 1993, a nest with a nestling of the Egyptian Vulture was found in the Serra de Tramuntana (Mallorca). It is very likely that this species was already breeding in the island in 1989, when young birds began to be observed.
