Sumario:This investigation is the result of a personal search in music didactics focused on the possibility to use active methodologies in order to promote active and comprehensive music learning. It centers the attention on teaching this art as an educational strategy that allows new ways of reflection and proposals for primary education. Moreover, the importance of promoting global and interdisciplinary teaching methods which involve the connection between disciplines is highlighted. Thus, the value of music education is pursued as an efficient area that promotes comprehensive learning and global knowledge. Moreover, it provides cognitive, motor, interactive and emotional experiences that feed a maturity for future learnings from expressive and creative processes
