Sumario:Information is presented on first citations of Dendrobranchiata and Caridea species (Crustacea, Decapoda) from material collected during several surveys (1995-1999) carried out off the Canary Islands, as well as on little known species. Within the Dendrobranchiata, Solenocera membranacea (Risso, 1816) (Solenoceridae) is recorded for the first time, and the presence of Penaeopsis serrata (Bate, 1881) (Penaeidae) and Sergestes arachnipodus (Cocco, 1832) (Sergestidae) is also confirmed. Within the Caridea, Synalpheus tumidomanus africanus Crosnier & Forest, 1965 (Alpheidae), Lysmata olavoi Fransen, 1991 (Hippolytidae), Processa canaliculata Leach, 1815 (Processidae), and Philocheras sculptus (Bell, 1847) (Crangonidae) are recorded for the first time, and the presence of Pasiphaea multidentata Esmark, 1866 (Pasiphaeidae), Systellaspis pellucida (Filhol, 1885) (Oplophoridae), Eualus occultus (Lebour, 1936) and Trachycaris restricta (A. Milne- Edwards, 1878) (both Hippolytidae), Processa parva Holthuis, 1951 (Processidae), and Philocheras fasciatus (Risso, 1816) (Crangonidae) is also confirmed.
