Taking into account the importance of “la parole de nuit” in the Antillean stories and the development of the creoleness concept, we try to describe the different aspects that night inspires in the author’s creole imagery, by describing the experiences of some of her characters. Ulmately, then, this study allows us to contrast the oraliture evolution in this author’s literary work and her inclusion in the current Antillean Francophone literature.La escritora guadalupeña Maryse Condé nos describe, a través de sus relatos de temática antillana, las particularidades de la noche créole y nos invita a indagar sobre su contribución a la definición de identidad. Las oposiciones entre el día y la noche, entre lo real y lo maravilloso, se convierten entonces en el punto de partida de este estudio. Teniendo en cuenta la importancia de la «parole de nuit» en el relato antillano y la evolución del concepto de creolidad, pretendemos describir los diferentes aspectos que inspira la noche en el imaginario créole de la autora, describiendo las experiencias de algunos de sus personajes.
