Where possible, various methods of microcontextual analysis have also been applied (anthracology, phytoliths and calcitic microremains, micromorphology, FTIR and phosphate analysis). The joint interpretation of the results obtained through the different techniques allows us to study in depth aspects such as the selection of the material and the construction processes of the combustion structures, their use and function, their occasional or repeated use, the fuels burnt, the temperatures reached and the thermal changes they have undergone, and the maintenance and cleaning of their surfaces. This type of interdisciplinary approach with high-resolution analysis is needed to advance in the interpretation of the functioning and use of combustion structures, a fundamental element in the organisation of domestic and social life in protohistoric communities.Se presenta el estudio de 19 hogares localizados en seis yacimientos del territorio de la antigua Cesetania ibérica, con cronologías entre los siglos V y III a.C. Todos ellos se analizan, en primer lugar, desde una perspectiva macroscópica y morfológica (técnicas de construcción, forma, ubicación). En los casos en que ha sido posible, se han aplicado, además, diversos métodos de análisis microcontextual (antracología, fitolitos y microrrestos calcíticos, micromorfología, FTIR y aná-lisis de fosfatos). La interpretación conjunta de los resultados obtenidos mediante las distintas técnicas permite profundizar en aspectos como la selección del material y los procesos constructivos de las estructuras de combustión, su uso y función, su empleo puntual o reiterado, los combustibles utilizados, las temperaturas alcanzadas y las alteraciones térmicas que han sufrido y el mantenimiento y limpieza de sus superficies.
