Descripción
Sumario:The present paper compares the growth rate of three batches of Senegalese sole Solea senegalensis Kaup, 1858, fed using three different time schedules: diurnal feeding, nocturnal feeding, and throughout the day. The same feed ratio and dose were applied to each batch. The results show no differences in weight and growth rates among batches after the experimental period of 103 days. Analysis of the results shows that sole's growth is not affected by the time of day chosen for feeding, despite the nocturnal feeding habits reflected in the bibliography of this species. Linear regression analysis and Pearson's correlation coefficient tests statistically confirmed the batches' similarity.
