| Sumario: | The Palestinian Israeli conflict is one of the most complex and long-standing conflicts in contemporary history, with profound political, social, and humanitarian consequences and implications. This paper analyzes the legal context of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, based on the study of the various instruments used by the international legal community, especially resolutions with recognized international validity, such as those originating within the United Nations and other international organizations, and an exhaustive analysis of the main events and developments that have marked the conflict, such as the norms of international humanitarian law. The two catastrophes or Nakba suffered by the Palestinian people, the first in 1948, which saw the first forced displacement of people in accordance with the bloody war currently ravaging Palestine, have revealed the ineffectiveness of the law of war or International Humanitarian Law. This paper seeks to analyze the barriers to the effective implementation of these rules in the current situation we are witnessing in Palestine. |
