PREPARACIÓN Y PROPIEDADES REOLÓGICAS DE MACROMOLÉCULAS DE POLICAPROLACTONA-IMIDAZOL
The goal of this project is the synthesis and characterization of a polyurethane made of soft segments of polycaprolactone (PCL) and hard segments of hexamethylen isocyanate (HDI), 1,3-di (2-hydroxyetil) imidazolium (IMI) or 1,4-butanediol (BT). Obtained polymers have been characterized by 1H –NMR a...

| Sumario: | The goal of this project is the synthesis and characterization of a polyurethane made of soft segments of polycaprolactone (PCL) and hard segments of hexamethylen isocyanate (HDI), 1,3-di (2-hydroxyetil) imidazolium (IMI) or 1,4-butanediol (BT). Obtained polymers have been characterized by 1H –NMR and GPC and the effect of the introduction of the hard segments in the thermal and mechanical properties evaluated. IMI and BT have been successfully incorporated into the PCL backbone. The soft segment has maintained the capacity to crystallize. Melting point of the obtained compounds is lower than melting point of PCL favoring the processability. The wettability is improved in comparison with the PCL as well. The compound with a lower ratio of hard segment also improved thermal stability. Variations in the fluency point and Young modulus have not been observed |
