Descripción
Sumario:[EN] This paper is the first part of a systematic study on the Coleoptera found in two localities of surroundings of Madrid : El Pardo hills and Casa de Campo, of 15.800 and 1.747 hectares respectively. A relation of 199 species of Curculionidae and 7 of Scolytidae is recorded, principally result of tue author's captures and the material from tue Instituto Español de Entomología collections. For every one, the number of stuclied specimens, concrete localities, date and colector (if unknow, supplied for I. E. E., sigla of the Spanish Entomological Institute) are given. The work begins with an introduction, ecological commentary and general information, which shall be useful for the future author's publications on the Coleoptera of El Pardo and Casa de Campo, that are in preparation.
