Descripción
Sumario:Tis book is being published in 2010, twenty-fve years afer the publication of Mujer Vasca. Imagen y Realidad (Basque Women: Image and Reality) a collection of essays edited by Teresa del Valle. This chapter is a tribute to that work, which constituted a landmark in Basque feminist and gender studies, a remarkably vital movement that subsequently developed along three separate fronts: as a social movement; in academia; and in institutional activity. As regards the current state of Basque academic feminism, we propose the use of three concepts: demythifcation, unveiling and challenging.
