Sumario:[ANGLÈS] The Prat de Llobregat’s beach it is located in the Llobregat Delta. That is the area where you will find the widest beach in the Catalan coast, actually it has a significant level of coastal erosion. Additionally, this beach is located in a protected area by the European Union through the Natura 2000, because of its valuable natural heritage. As a mechanism of protection against coastal erosion important issue presented in this beach, this paper aims to limit the application of soft coastal action using geotextiles. It is proposed to use the technique of Geotextile Wrap-around Revetmen (GWR). This technique has been used for coastal protection in countries like Holland Germany, Australia, Portugal, et. with positive results. Additionally propose to implement the modifications developed by the University of Ibaraki (Japan) to ensure the stability of coastal structures.
