Sumario:The monastic complex of Sant Daniel, in the valley of the same name in Girona, remains active from the date of its foundation by the countess Ermessenda and the count Ramon Borrell. The monastery has undergone continuous expansions and it renovations as it affects the building and the female Benedictine community. This paper aims to collect all the bibliographic material to give an updated reading doing, also, an attentive reading of the walls. The attention is focus to the Romanesque period, so studying their church and the cloister from architectural and functional view
