Resumo:There are several reasons that explain why we never had spoken so much of landscape before now and one of them is the relevant role that landscape has and has always had in the process of creation and consolidation of territorial identities. This is the reason that explains why landscape works as a catalyst of the increasing number of conflicts of territorial and environmental character in our society. In front of the loss of the territorial local idiosyncrasy due to not agreed processes —usually very bad explained—, civil society reacts in a more and more indignant way, generating a state of opinion that connects perfectly well with a new ideology that claims a new territorial culture
