| Sumario: | [EN] Phenomenology has enriched film stud-ies through the work of Christian Metz, Gi-lles Deleuze and Vivian Sobchack among others, but its descriptive methodology can also contribute with animation re-search. In this text we analyze phenome-nologically the experience of watching an animated narrative in order to bring to light the a priori structures and dynamics in which animation makes sense. We will delve into the particular attitude of the subject that allows immersion in the ani-mated narrative world, which assumes an intersubjective dimension that articu-lates a personal growth process with cul-tural practices oriented by expectations of encounter and recognition typical of contemporary communication. This phe-nomenological description allows us to understand the value that the audience find in animated stories. The essay also exposes the assumptions that underlie animation studies from their own theo-retical frameworks and methodologies. It therefore offers a primary guidance for systematizing and strengthening interdis-ciplinary research. |
