| Sumario: | This is an overview of the discourses, practices, changes and continuities in the ideas of Catalan-ness in the Catalan Countries from the 1960s until today after the turn of the century. The 1960s played a crucial role in the construction of new identity discourses influenced the sociopolitical situation in the Catalan Countries at the same time that the national identity markers have undergone transformations. Both of these can be examined under a joint perspective. |
