Descripción
Sumario:[EN] The objectives of this study are to determine the causal factors of the institutional change of the models of electoral bodies in Perú for the period from 1895 to 2007 and to fill in part the gap that exists in the literature on institutional change of the models of these electoral entities. Electoral bodies continue to be an under-researched subject in the field of political science despite the fact that they are entities that were born together with the new republican states. The literature production has focused its interest on the performance and classification of EO models, but why models of electoral bodies change has not yet been studied. This research shows that the combined presence of the causal condition a context of crisis of executive power and the agent causal condition with leadership of institutional change from outside the political system is a sufficient condition for institutional change in the models of electoral management bodies in Perú.
