| Sumario: | Over the years the old trades used in construction have gradually disappeared. Many of these have disappeared since the Industrial Revolution, a period that marked a new line in the way of building. This thesis endeavours to regain the value of these old constructive and structural techniques, as well as the materials used. In this way, it is a study that can be useful for works in heritage intervention, serving as a guide to help understand the construction processes that were formerly developed. For this purpose, the rural architecture of the Vallbona area has been used as a test laboratory. Conclusions have been drawn concerning the structural and constructive typologies, the materials used and their manipulation and the construction techniques. |
