| Sumario: | This work is aimed at designing high performance bus networks taking into account the minimization of the negative environmental and social impacts. It will be based on the concept called Hybrid networks proposed by Miquel Estrada and Carlos Daganzo. The optimal network layout is obtained by analytical models. They minimize an objective function, which is composed of agency and user costs (using parameters such as time, comfort, cost per km travel, headway, cruising speed among others)to determine the optimal design. |
