Se establece la capacidad de ambos grupos para diferenciar el tipo de ecosistema y las características ambientales de los puntos de muestreo.Se han identificado un total de 16.792 ácaros Oribatida y 1.288 Mesostigmata, que representan 200 y 94 especies de cada grupo respectivamente. Se amplía la distribución conocida de 99 especies de Oribatida y 92 especies de Mesostigmata a Araba, Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa y Navarra.
