Description
Summary:The location of the photographic collection of the Balearic teacher training colleges has provided us with a small yet unique collection of photographs of artistic representations made by female students from the Teacher Training College which has aroused our interest in particular. Based on a thorough analysis of these images, both from the perspective of what they visualise as well as what they make visible, we have attempted to approach the Balearic Teacher Training College for women in the origins of the second period, which coincides with the years of heated controversy over the history. In the midst of adverse conditions, these images not only allow leave an objective testimony of celebrations that were carried out, but also enable us to know what the image the new teachers in this college aimed to project was and why.
