| Sumario: | [EN] The staunch tradition of protecting and conserving monuments that dates back to the expertise of Aloïs Riegl and Max Dvorak is still alive and this is a magnificent example of that fact. The unique circumstances involved in this case have permitted the recuperation not only of the beautiful painted architecture of the building itself but the ingenious stage machinery, costumes and the original stage sets. The architects, authors also of the restoration of Adolf Loos’s Müller Villa (LOGGIA no. 12), have shown both their concern for the built heritage and their practical versatility. |
