For this purpose, an empirical analysis of a descriptive statistical nature is developed with a sample of 430 students, in which it is analyzed in particular, the relationship between the student’s intention to abandon the degree with several variables such as: the position given when filling out the pre-registration document for university access; the reasons that motivated the election; the degree and the current course; as well as the ownership structure of the origin school center. Results confirm a relationship between the studied variables, showing that 7.2 percent of the students will drop-out in the in the current course, being highly probable a higher unexplored abandon rate. |
