Meanwhile, an entire generation of philologists has begun to consider Byzantine manuscripts as more than just an auxiliary matter, and they are becoming interested in the dialectic relationship between the message and the medium. Palaeography, a discipline that operates between history and philology, is not confined to the study of writing but analyzes Greek codices and literature in the context of Byzantine material culture.Peer reviewedCambridge University PressPérez Martín, Inmaculada [0000-0001-7260-2631]Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas [https://ror.org/02gfc7t72]202320232017info:eu-repo/semantics/otherhttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_3248Publisher's versioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/bookParthttp://hdl.handle.net/10261/339340reponame:DIGITAL.CSIC.
