The Catalanrepresentative was allowed to take part (although without voting power) in themeetings of that Commission. This system continued until September 2010when a cooperation agreement between the two governments was signed. Theobjective of this agreement was to implement the article 161.1 of the CatalanStatute of Autonomy of 2006. This agreement constitutes an early implementationof some of the new features introduced by the reform of the SpanishReligious Freedom Act in one of the Spanish regions. |
